Delivery FAQ's
Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver to most mainland UK postcodes using our professional two-person delivery service.
Unfortunately, we do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or any offshore UK islands.
If you're unsure whether we deliver to your area, please contact our Customer Care Team before placing your order and we'll be happy to help.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery charges vary depending on your postcode and the products ordered.
Your delivery charge will be clearly displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
Optional services, including professional assembly, may also be available for an additional charge.
How does the delivery booking process work?
Because every Snooze bed is handcrafted and made to order, we'll contact you once your order is ready for dispatch.
You'll receive an email and/or SMS containing a secure booking link where you can select an available delivery date that's convenient for you.
Available delivery dates are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and may vary depending on your location and delivery capacity.
Once you've selected your preferred delivery date, we'll send confirmation along with delivery updates by email and SMS. You'll also receive a delivery time window closer to your delivery date.
During particularly busy periods, including Bank Holidays, Black Friday, Christmas and other peak trading periods, available delivery dates may be more limited.
Can I choose my delivery date?
Yes.
Once your order is ready for dispatch, you'll be invited to choose an available delivery date using our online booking system.
Delivery dates remain available until booked and cannot be guaranteed until your booking has been confirmed.
Can I change or cancel my delivery date?
Yes.
You may amend your booked delivery date free of charge provided you give us at least 2 working days' notice before your scheduled delivery, no later than 12:00pm.
Examples
- If your delivery is booked for Thursday, you must notify us by 12:00pm on Tuesday.
- If your delivery is booked for Monday, you must notify us by 12:00pm on the previous Thursday, as weekends are not classed as working days.
If you request to cancel or rearrange your delivery with less than 2 working days' notice, a £95 rebooking/cancellation charge will apply.
Please note that because delivery capacity is limited, your original delivery slot cannot be held and subsequent delivery dates may not be immediately available. The next available appointment will be offered based on our delivery schedule.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Yes.
Weekend deliveries are available in many areas, subject to availability and an additional delivery charge.
Weekend appointments cannot be guaranteed and may not be available in all locations.
Do you deliver to a room of choice?
Yes.
Our standard two-person delivery service includes delivery to your room of choice where it is safe and reasonably accessible.
Our team can normally carry products up one flight of stairs.
If your delivery location is above the first floor, suitable lift access must be available.
If access is unusual or particularly difficult, please let us know before your delivery so we can assess whether additional arrangements are required.
What happens if I'm not at home?
An adult aged 18 or over must be present to accept and sign for the delivery.
If no one is available, or if our delivery team cannot complete the delivery due to customer absence, a £95 failed delivery charge will apply.
A new delivery date will then need to be arranged, subject to availability.
What if the furniture won't fit into my property?
It is your responsibility to ensure that the products ordered can safely fit through all access routes, including doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts and into the intended room.
We strongly recommend measuring all access points before placing your order.
If delivery cannot be completed because of restricted access, a £95 return charge will apply.
Please note:
- Delivery charges are non-refundable.
- Assembly charges are non-refundable.
- Any bespoke or made-to-order products remain subject to our cancellation policy.
Do you remove old beds or mattresses?
We do not currently offer a furniture removal or recycling service.
Most local councils provide bulky waste collection services for a small fee, and we recommend contacting your local authority for further information.
Can I tell you about access restrictions before delivery?
Absolutely.
If your property has any special access requirements, including:
- narrow staircases
- restricted parking
- apartment blocks
- gated developments
- height restrictions
- timed loading bays
- difficult access
Please let us know as soon as possible after placing your order.
You can contact us by email at support@snooze.co.uk or via our Live Chat service.
Providing this information in advance helps us ensure your delivery goes as smoothly as possible.
Additional Delivery Terms & Conditions
The following provisions form part of our Delivery & Installation Policy and should be read alongside our Terms of Sale.
Parking & Vehicle Access
Our delivery vehicles require safe and legal access to your property.
It is your responsibility to ensure there is suitable parking available close to the delivery address.
If parking restrictions apply, including permit parking, controlled parking zones, gated developments or private roads, you must inform us before your scheduled delivery.
Where parking charges, permits or authorised access are required, these remain the customer's responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing.
If our delivery team cannot safely or legally park within a reasonable distance of your property, delivery may need to be postponed and a re-delivery charge may apply.
Apartment Buildings & Building Management
If you live in an apartment block, retirement complex, gated development or managed building, you are responsible for ensuring our delivery team has permission to access the property.
This includes arranging:
- Concierge access
- Lift reservations
- Loading bay bookings
- Security clearance
- Parking permits
- Building management approval
Any delays caused by failure to obtain the necessary permissions may result in your delivery being postponed.
Customer Responsibility for Measurements
Before placing your order, you must ensure the Products can safely pass through:
- External doors
- Internal doors
- Hallways
- Staircases
- Landings
- Lifts
- Corridors
- The intended room
Please also consider low ceilings, tight corners, bannisters and any other physical restrictions.
If delivery cannot be completed due to access limitations, return and re-delivery charges may apply.
Lift Requirements
Where delivery is to the second floor or above, a suitable working passenger or service lift may be required.
Our delivery team cannot use lifts that exceed their safe working limits or where the Product cannot safely fit.
If no suitable lift is available, we reserve the right to refuse delivery where manual handling would present a health and safety risk.
Manual Handling & Health & Safety
The safety of our employees, delivery partners and customers is our highest priority.
Our delivery team will not carry out any task they reasonably believe could:
- place themselves or others at risk of injury;
- damage your property;
- damage the Product;
- breach manual handling regulations; or
- otherwise create an unsafe working environment.
If delivery cannot safely proceed, we reserve the right to postpone or refuse delivery.
Refusal of Assembly
Our installers may decline to assemble or position a Product where:
- the installation area is unsafe;
- sufficient working space is unavailable;
- flooring is unstable or uneven;
- access is obstructed;
- children or pets create an unsafe working environment;
- electrical connections appear unsafe (for adjustable beds); or
- continuing the installation may result in injury or property damage.
Where possible, our team will explain the reason and discuss alternative arrangements with you.
Existing Furniture
Unless specifically agreed in writing, our delivery team cannot dismantle, disconnect or remove existing furniture.
Please ensure the installation area is clear before our arrival.
Failure to do so may prevent the delivery or assembly from being completed.
Packaging
Our delivery team will remove and recycle packaging materials where this forms part of the service you have purchased.
Where packaging removal is not included, the customer remains responsible for disposing of all packaging responsibly.
Delivery Photographs
For quality assurance, training, fraud prevention and proof of delivery, our delivery team may take photographs before, during and after delivery or installation.
These photographs will normally focus on the Products and installation area.
Photographs are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and are not used for marketing without your separate permission.
Delays Beyond Our Control
Occasionally deliveries may be delayed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- severe weather;
- road traffic accidents;
- motorway closures;
- vehicle breakdowns;
- public events;
- industrial action;
- supplier delays; or
- other unforeseen circumstances.
Where this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to arrange an alternative delivery date.
We shall not be liable for delays arising from events beyond our reasonable control.
Storage Charges
If you repeatedly postpone your delivery after your Product has been manufactured and is ready for dispatch, we reserve the right to charge reasonable storage fees.
Where storage charges apply, we will notify you in advance before any charges become payable.
Delivery Windows
Delivery dates and estimated arrival windows are provided in good faith.
While we always aim to arrive within the estimated timeframe, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally affect arrival times.
Estimated delivery windows are not guaranteed arrival times.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Please inspect your Products as soon as reasonably possible following delivery.
If you believe any item has been delivered damaged, incomplete or incorrectly, please notify us within 48 hours and, where possible, provide photographs to help us investigate promptly.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Refusal of Delivery
If you refuse delivery for reasons other than:
- transit damage;
- an incorrect Product supplied by us; or
- another fault for which Snooze is responsible,
our Returns & Cancellations Policy will apply and additional collection or re-delivery charges may be payable.
Customer Conduct
We are committed to treating every customer with courtesy and respect, and we ask for the same in return.
Our delivery teams have the right to work in a safe environment free from abuse, intimidation, threats or harassment.
If a member of our team experiences abusive, threatening or aggressive behaviour, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the delivery or installation. Where this happens, additional charges may apply if a further delivery visit is required.
Rural & Remote Locations
Some rural or remote postcodes may have reduced delivery availability or longer lead times.
Where additional delivery charges apply, these will be confirmed before your order is accepted.
Force Majeure
We shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our delivery obligations where caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, acts of government, civil unrest, terrorism, cyber incidents affecting logistics systems, or other unforeseen events.
Where such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and arrange delivery as soon as reasonably practicable.
Partial Deliveries
Where an Order contains multiple Products, we may, where reasonable and with your agreement where appropriate, deliver the available Products separately if one or more items are delayed.
There will be no additional delivery charge for any subsequent delivery arranged by Snooze where the delay is our responsibility.
Customer Readiness
To help ensure a smooth and safe delivery, you must ensure that before our Delivery Team arrives:
- all access routes are clear and free from obstructions;
- fragile or valuable items have been moved away from the delivery route where possible;
- sufficient space is available for safe assembly and positioning of the Product;
- children and pets are supervised and kept clear of the working area;
- any existing furniture to be retained has been moved where necessary; and
- Any required electrical sockets are accessible for adjustable beds or other powered Products.
If the delivery or installation cannot proceed because the area is not suitably prepared, additional charges may apply for a return visit.
Customer Inspection & Acceptance
Before our Delivery Team leaves, we encourage you to inspect your Products to ensure they have been delivered as expected.
Where possible, any visible issues should be brought to the attention of the Delivery Team before departure.
If you discover a problem after delivery, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable and, where possible, within 48 hours, providing photographs where appropriate.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Property Protection
Our Delivery Team will take reasonable care when delivering and assembling your Products.
However, we cannot be held responsible for damage caused where:
- access routes are too narrow or restricted;
- customers request delivery through an unsuitable route after being advised of the risks;
- flooring, walls, ceilings or fixtures are already damaged or structurally unsound; or
- damage results from concealed defects within the property.
Nothing in this clause excludes liability where we have failed to exercise reasonable care and skill.
Flooring & Installation Surface
Products should be installed on a suitable, level and structurally sound floor.
Uneven, damaged or unstable flooring may affect the performance, stability or longevity of the Product.
Where our Delivery Team reasonably believes the installation surface is unsuitable, they may refuse to assemble the Product until the issue has been addressed.
Electrical Products
For adjustable beds and other electrically powered Products:
- a safe and accessible mains socket must be available;
- extension leads should be avoided wherever possible;
- our Delivery Team will not modify existing electrical installations;
- any electrical faults identified within the property remain the responsibility of the homeowner or occupier.
Adverse Weather
For the safety of our customers and Delivery Team, deliveries may be postponed where severe weather conditions make travel or manual handling unsafe.
Where this occurs, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable to arrange an alternative delivery date at no additional delivery charge.
Delivery by Third-Party Partners
Some deliveries may be carried out by carefully selected third-party delivery partners operating on behalf of Snooze.
Where this applies, those partners are required to meet our service standards.
Snooze remains your contractual point of contact for any questions or concerns relating to your Order.
Title and Risk During Delivery
Risk in the Products passes to you when the Products have been delivered to the agreed Delivery Address and accepted by you or another authorised person at that address.
Ownership of the Products passes in accordance with the Terms of Sale.
Unforeseen Access Restrictions
If, upon arrival, our Delivery Team identifies access restrictions that were not disclosed before delivery and which prevent safe completion of the delivery or installation, we may need to postpone or cancel the visit.
Where a further visit is required due to undisclosed access restrictions, a reasonable re-delivery charge may apply.
Refusal to Sign
If you refuse to sign for a completed delivery without identifying a specific concern at the time of delivery, we may record the delivery as completed and retain photographic or electronic proof of delivery.
This does not affect your right to report genuine faults or exercise your statutory rights.
Communication During Delivery
To help us complete your delivery successfully, we may contact you by telephone, SMS or email on the day of delivery.
Please ensure the contact details provided with your Order remain accurate and up to date.
We cannot accept responsibility for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or outdated contact information supplied by the Customer.
Sustainable Packaging
Where packaging removal forms part of your delivery service, we will endeavour to recycle packaging materials responsibly whenever reasonably practicable.
Our commitment to sustainability forms part of our wider environmental responsibilities.
Delivery Satisfaction
Your feedback is important to us.
Following delivery, we may invite you to share your experience through a customer satisfaction survey or independent review platform.
Your participation is entirely voluntary and helps us improve our products and services.
Our Delivery Promise
At Snooze, we believe the delivery experience should be just as enjoyable as choosing your new bed.

Our aim is simple:
- Deliver on time.
- Treat your home with care and respect.
- Assemble your furniture professionally (where purchased or included).

Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to most mainland UK postcodes.
Unfortunately, we do not currently deliver to:
- Northern Ireland
- Republic of Ireland
- Isle of Man
- Channel Islands
- Offshore UK islands
If you're unsure whether we deliver to your postcode, please contact our Customer Care Team before placing your order.
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated based on your postcode and the Products ordered.
The applicable delivery charge will always be displayed during checkout before payment is taken.
Optional services, including professional assembly, may be available at an additional cost.
Booking Your Delivery
As every Snooze Product is handcrafted and made to order, your delivery cannot be booked immediately after checkout.
Once your order has been completed, passed our quality inspections and is ready for dispatch, we'll send you an email and/or SMS containing a secure booking link.
Using this link, you'll be able to select an available delivery date that best suits you.
Delivery dates are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and remain subject to availability.
Your chosen delivery date is only confirmed once you've completed the booking process.
We'll continue to keep you updated by email and SMS, including providing an estimated delivery time window closer to your delivery day.
Peak Delivery Periods
During periods of exceptionally high demand, including:
- Bank Holidays
- Black Friday
- Christmas
- Boxing Day sales
- Seasonal promotions
- Extreme weather events
delivery capacity may be reduced and available dates may fill more quickly than usual.
We recommend booking your delivery as soon as you receive your booking invitation.
Changing Your Delivery Date
You may amend your confirmed delivery date free of charge by giving us at least two (2) working days' notice, no later than 12:00pm.
For example:
- Thursday delivery → Changes must be requested by Tuesday at 12:00pm.
- Monday delivery → Changes must be requested by the previous Thursday at 12:00pm.
Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Late Changes & Cancellation Charges
If you request to cancel or rearrange your booked delivery with less than two (2) working days' notice, a £95 rebooking charge will apply.
This charge helps cover transport planning, vehicle allocation and staffing costs already committed to your delivery.
As delivery capacity is limited, your original appointment cannot be guaranteed once cancelled.
Any replacement delivery will be offered using the next available delivery slot for your postcode, which may be several days or weeks later during busy periods.
Delivery charges already paid are non-refundable once the late cancellation period has passed.
Your Delivery Day
Please ensure:
- someone aged 18 or over is present;
- access routes are clear;
- children and pets are kept away from the installation area;
- parking is available;
- Your room is ready for delivery.
Our Delivery Team will always do their best to complete your delivery safely and efficiently.
